The course was victorious today for the Women’s GNSW and WGN Monthly Medals with the scores returned being fairly average on the whole. Our Medal winners across the three divisions could only record scores in the mid seventies so it would seem that we are all finding the course conditions very tough. However, the course presentation is at present exemplary despite the lack of precipitation of late.

In Division 1 Sandra England played steady golf to win the Medal with 89 off the stick which resulted in a nett 75. Unfortunately her putting was off the boil today which of course ticked up the numbers. Angela Boadle was nudged into second spot on a count back in Division 1 also with a nett 75.

Lyn Hatton had a very successful day in second division to win the medal with 74 nett which was the best of the day. As a result she was awarded the monthly Goblet which is donated by Linda Trusler to go to the player with the best nett score. She also took out the scratch score in Division 2 and a nearest the pin. Marj Burns came in snapping at Lyn’s heels to claim runner up with a nett 75.

Di Pritchard once again dominated the Division 3 competition taking out her third consecutive Medal this year. She returned a nett 76 today and runner-up was Barbara Howsan with 77 nett.

The ball competition went down to 79.
