The Super Six Match Play Knockout competition is sponsored by Maureen Knaggs, a former member and golfer. The 18 holes stableford round played today saw 16 ladies qualify for the knockout stableford match play scheduled for next week. Those who were unable to qualify will participate in the Plate event over 18 holes single stableford to be played in conjunction.

Each match play competition will be contested over six holes after which one player in each pair will be eliminated. Winners from each pair will continue on over another six holes against a different opponent (a winner of another match). After 18 holes are completed there will be two successful contestants who will play off for the final round. The Final will be played over the first, second and third holes and the winner is the player with the advantage in the stableford match play format. If there is a draw, the winner will be decided by a shoot out on the 4th hole where the player nearest to the pin after the second shot will be declared the Super Six Match Play Champion.

The players who are eliminated in each six hole match will continue to play a standard stableford game and will then be part of the Plate Event.
