Twenty-seven ladies played in the monthly medal round for September. The course was a little damp after a few days of rain, and players had to adjust to a new set of conditions. There seemed to be run in some places and not in others, the greens varied from fast to slow and the hills sent some balls tumbling back when others held fast. However our winners had no trouble adjusting and came home with good scores.

Sandra England and Peta Merchant were the medal winners for Division one, both with 74. Robyn Moore and Val Wilson won Division two with 74 and 78 respectively and Anne Newton and Rickie Gilligan won Division three with a nett 74 and 78. Sandra England had the best nett score and claimed the coveted Glass Goblet. Di Pritchard won the putting competition with 34 putts.

Nearest to the pin on the fourth hole was won by Sue Hunter, Robyn Moore and Anne Newton. On the seventeenth hole Sue Hunter, Maree McLean and Rickie Gilligan were the winners. The ball rundown went to 75 and there were seven places. Congratulations and well done to all our winners.

Next Thursday, 13th September, we will play a single stableford which will also be our qualifying round for the Maureen Knaggs Super Six Match Play Knockout. Make sure you have your name down for that one!
