Par rounds are always challenging and when there is so much run on the course it is even more so. Lots of run means you may get to the green more quickly but at some point the ball has to be putted out. With lightning fast greens and balls that just wouldn’t co-operate, there was lots to contend with. Twenty-eight stalwart ladies did their best to master this most difficult of golf games. A little weary, and perhaps somewhat battle scarred, our valiant ladies made their way around the course and eventually back to the clubroom for some rest and relaxation. All were pleased to have put the round behind them for another month.

Our Division One winner with a score of +1 was Angela Boadle. Runner up with -2 was Peta Merchant. Marj Burns continued her winning form to take first place in Division Two with -1 and next in line was Val Wilson with -2. The best score of the day was earned by Division Three player Jill Downie with +2 and Sue Davies also did very well to come home with -1.

Nearest to the pin winners on the 16th were Linda Weatherill, Lyn Hatchman and Cath Kleinmeulman. On the 4th Jill Levi was the only winner. The ball rundown went to -3 and there were eight places. Congratulations and well done to all who played.
