Nowra Golf Club is located in the northern part of the Shoalhaven region, a popular tourist destination about two hours south of Sydney.
A great opportunity exists for you to advance your career in golf course management at the Nowra Golf Club. The Nowra Golf Course is an 18 hole course, ideally situated within the Shoalhaven region. Nestled along the picturesque Shoalhaven River the course offers a challenge to all levels of golfers from social player to the lowest of handicaps, which provides a memorable experience for all the play.
Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to gain/build on existing skills across all areas of golf course management.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to fill this great role.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Repairs and maintenance of the golf course
Ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Must have golf course experience
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Multi-tasking abilities
- High standard of communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team
- Be flexible to work a variety of shifts across 7 days per week
- Certificate 3 horticulture sports turf management or equivalent
- Work experience in turf management
- Experience in machinery maintenance
- Experience in irrigation systems and repairs
- A strong team approach and high level work ethic
- A current unrestricted drivers licence
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Club Award 2010.
